"My experience with the Big O Facial
Like Madonna, I had a milestone birthday this year and like Madonna, want my skin to look as healthy and youthful as possible. So, as a special treat in celebration of this milestone, my (younger) sister and I decided to visit Julie's (A Bed of Roses Medispa) to have the Big O facial. Both the results and experience were fantastic!
Julie starts with a mild microdermabrasion that feels like kittens licking your skin and then applies the serums in a hyperbaric wand. The treatment took about an hour and was really pleasant and relaxing--in fact, during her treatment my sister fell asleep. And the results were immediately noticeable! My skin was fabulously hydrated and my eyes were noticeably lifted. When I left the spa, I couldn't help looking at myself in my rear-view mirror because my eyebrows were lifted higher above my sunglasses than normal. When I returned to work on Monday, two of my colleagues noted (unprompted) that I looked great and suggested I must have had a very restful weekend. Needless to say, I want to go back for a series of treatments as soon as possible.
Another big plus is the price. Unlike Madonna, I do not have unlimited financial resources so affordable pricing is a consideration. Fortunately, Julie's services are very competitively priced and fall within a price range that is accessible to the non rich and famous among us.
I live in Ottawa and therefore do not live close to Julie's spa in Markham, Ontario. But whenever I am in the area to visit my sister, I always take the opportunity to have a treatment. (My previous treatments were photo facials that gave dramatic and lasting results). As a bonus, it is a really good reason to visit my beloved sister on a more frequent basis.
I highly recommend this treatment for any occasion that you want to look your most youthful best (like most days). It may be prudent to ask someone to give you a ride home so you can indulge the temptation to look at your self in the mirror on the way home.

"When my wife said she was getting a series of photofacials treatments from Julie at A Bed Of Roses Medispa and I found out that Julie offered laser hair removal, I thought, heck, why not go with my wife and see about the hair on my back and shoulders removed. I'm a triathlete with lots of outdoor running with my shirt off and of course swimming. Since my back was fairly hairy and I was pretty self-conscious about the amount, I used to have my wife regularly use a chemical removal product to keep a 'clean' back.
So far, I've had three treatments and seen great progress. The treatments are less than an hour long and the effect of the laser on the skin lasts only a short time. If you are conscious about your body hair, I would highly recommend that you contact Julie for a consultation and see what she can do for you. I don't know why I waited so long!!
